Nature, Church, and libraries are places where I feel the presence of God the most. In these places of reflection, of worship and of knowledge it is easy to believe in the divine.
Visiting the Beinecke Library, located on the Yale Campus in Conneticuit, you will be amazed at the modern building that appears to be floating.
Walking into its cavernous space takes your breath away. Books that are from the earliest time of writing and print are stored on these shelves.
Sitting in one of the plush leather chairs my writer brain feel connected to these thousand of other writers who toiled away so they could be read. What an incredible site.
On permanaent display are two of the most famous books in the world. A Guttenburg Bible.
And an original Audubon Bird Book. Both books are worth going to see.
Truly, a great place every writer should visit.
